Prayer
Thomas Merton says that “Prayer is an expression of who we are… We are a living incompleteness. We are a gap, an emptiness that calls for fulfillment.”
In prayer, we reach out to God, we seek to complete ourselves in God, and to feel God’s presence within us. At Messiah, we have a variety of groups dedicated to the practice of prayer in its various forms. In prayer we bring our attention to bear on all that is, seeking to walk in the full light of God.
