Youth Group
Youth in grade 6 and above meet at 10:15 Sundays in the Upper Room. We base the class material on the students’ current issues and concerns, supplemented by Bible readings, movies, and the Book of Common Prayer. Junior and Senior high school youth may become involved at all levels of the Church of the Messiah. In addition to duties as acolytes, they may become lectors and chalice-bearers. 9th graders and above may volunteer at the yearly Diocesan Convention in Riverside, and we are able to have a student who is at least 16 years old as a voting member of the vestry.
